The international air route between Sanya, Hainan, and Almaty, Kazakhstan, has officially resumed. On September 16th at 8:36 am, a plane carrying 213 passengers departed from Almaty and landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport. This is the first international air route between Sanya and Central Asia to resume this year.
The flight operates every Saturday with the inbound flight numbered DV473, departing from Almaty in the early morning and arriving in Sanya. The outbound flight is numbered DV474 and returns from Sanya on the same day.
Almaty is the largest city and business-cultural center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The direct air route between Sanya and Almaty will provide convenience for future tourism, trade, and cultural exchanges between Sanya and Central Asia.
